Your Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a technical sales environment, ideally within a B2B sales industry. The business development manager will have a track record of successful business development and a desire to progress and excel within a growing company.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to act on their own initiative, whilst working as part of a close-knit commercial team, and be comfortable working in all business environments, from dealing with multi-national companies through to emerging enterprises.
The business development manager will have a strong technical educational background from A-levels to degree or will be able to pick up new technologies very quickly.
The Role
My client is looking for an exceptional Business Development Sales Manager to proactively target and win new business. Rapidly acquiring an excellent knowledge of our products and technical solutions, the successful candidate will use this and their in-depth industry knowledge to identify key areas for business development, before managing the often highly technical sales cycles to secure new and lasting relationships with clients.
Working as part of a small team, the Business Development Sales Manager will be expected to set challenging personal objectives in-line with the company's strategic goals and be organised, innovative, and persistent in achieving them. Possessing outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, they will be the first point of contact for new clients, from developing leads through to representing the company at trade-shows and responding to incoming enquiries, at all times maintaining and building upon my clients Telecoms' industry leading reputation for excellence.
