Job Description

New Business Director, Sales Director - Digital Marketing Agency
Central London
Negotiable + Uncapped Bonus + Benefits

We're an exciting growing digital agency based in the City / Central London and looking for a highly experienced New Business Director, Sales Director to help take us to the next level.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have sole responsibility for shaping and overseeing our ambitious growth plans. Alongside identifying prospective clients, the strategic planning behind their acquisition, leading pitches, handling negotiations and closing deals, you will also be responsible for identifying and prioritising digital media opportunities (web, advertising, mobile, gaming, social networks, etc.) for our clients.

In addition you will be key part of the management team, developing and executing the strategic vision.

You need to understand digital marketing and the opportunities it presents inside out, so having worked in digital agencies for most of your career is very important. You must be a proven high achiever, outgoing, confident and willing to role up your sleeves to play an important part in growing an extraordinary company in the digital media space.

You will be tireless in seeking new business opportunities and presenting our range of skills and expertise at any given opportunity.

New Business Director, Sales Director Main Responsibilities:


Revenue:
- Full responsibility for delivery against revenue targets
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and profit forecasts
- Produce weekly sales performance reports
- Maximise revenue opportunities within existing accounts


Business Development:
- Lead all new business pitches
- Act as interface between prospective clients and the business
- Produce a strategic plan every 6 months for the acquisition of new clients
- Raise the external profile of the brand
- Own and develop the sales pipeline
- Oversee quotes and estimates for all new project requests from existing clients


Management:
- Recruit and build a Commercial team in line with sales growth

Client Relations:
- Work closely with clients and assist them in achieving their overall targets
- Maintain a great understanding of the environments our clients or prospective clients operate in
- Seek to genuinely improve the digital marketing output of our clients and constantly be on hand to advise and support them in doing this
- Develop and grow relationships with all clients


Market Knowledge:
- Maintain detailed and up to date knowledge of competitor's activities
- Maintain extensive knowledge of web design and build developments
- Communicate key changes in competitive landscape to company on a monthly basis


Networking:
- Operate as a significant contributor to our industry through participation in networking events and social networks
- Represent the business at industry events and forums
- Forge new relationships with business partners


Necessary Qualifications:

- None: We're more interested in your new business performance than your education


You may have worked in the following capacities:
Sales Manager, Head of Sales, Commercial Manager, Business Development Director, New Business Director, Marketing Agency Director, Managing Director.
