IP Telephony Sales - Telecoms Sales Consultant

Role Purpose/Description:
The purpose of this role is to identify and close IP Telephony opportunities in the SMB and Mid Market with a strong emphasis on converged networks and application sales. You will also require the ability to leverage the Charterhouse product portfolio within the client base and identify up sell and cross sell opportunities.
Charterhouse require someone who can structure and sell using a consultative approach looking at business challenges and solving these using the IP Telephony portfolio.
Working as a member of the Sales Team you will require drive and a passion for technology. Your success will be determined by your ability to deliver under pressure and continuously perform to meet your targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to intelligently self generate new business opportunities through focus on particular verticals, business drivers and market trends.
Meet and to exceed the monthly sales targets.
Develop and retain customers in order to sustain an increase in market share and revenue growth.
Experienced in selling IP Telephony and business applications.
Commercial awareness of structuring solution sales.
Liaison with Pre Sales.
Required Competencies:
Demonstrable experience of selling telecommunication specifically Avaya, Cisco and Mitel.
Good negotiation and closing skills.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to contribute to the strategic vision of clients.
Application awareness of Mobility, Unified Communications, Contact Centre and Collaboration solutions.
First class knowledge of Ethernet data networks.
First class influencing skills with a demonstrable track record of delivery.
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary - £35 - £45k
OTE - earning potential - £100k (uncapped)
