A driven and motivated Business Development Manager is required to sell an online (ASP) trading and risk management solution which investment bankers need to calculate profit and loss, do projections and ultimately operate a hedge fund business. This impressive $30M operation requires someone who has a minimum of 5 years experience selling to the financial vertical.

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager.
AREA: City of London.
BASED: West End Office when not with clients.
BASIC: £55K - £70K.
OTE: £140K.
BENEFITS: Car, petrol card, pension, health cover, life insurance and gym membership.

THE ROLE

• A driven and motivated Business Development Manager is required to sell an online (ASP) trading and risk management solution which investment bankers need to calculate profit and loss, do projections, and ultimately operate a hedge fund business.
• This role includes selling to the investment banking vertical and selling to top traders, business chiefs and business owners.
• The Business Development Manager will initially be working purely the London market but with scope to branch out in 6 months time to cover the European financial capitals.
• This is a pure new business position with no cold calling involved as the marketing department is absolutely brilliant.

• They have 5 other sales people in the UK.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A minimum of 5 years experience selling to the financials vertical is crucial.
• The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate complex software.
• An understanding of hedge funds is required.
• This company is open on the software candidates have sold.
• The ideal applicant will have experience of selling into the trading and risk management areas of investment banks.
