My Client a leading Accountancy service provider is currently recruiting for a Technical Support Administrator.

Role Purpose

To ensure all areas of business critical IT systems and Telecommunications are proactively managed to enable the business to operate efficiently and effectively at all times.

Role Accountabilities

·Be skilled in all aspects of the activities that the team perform.

·Minimum of 3 years advanced technical solution provision.

·Carry out project based work with the IT Manager

·Assist in the development of internal bespoke systems.

·Manage escalated issues and technical questions.

·IT infrastructure administration in the following areas:

oWindows 2000/2003 Domain

oCisco Network

oFile server management

oIP Based telephony systems

oDRP management

·Proactively manage SQL database clusters have an ability to interrogate SQL databases

·Proactively monitor and troubleshoot key IT systems to ensure that no downtime occurs and complete essential maintenance activities.

·Log all support calls and manage customer expectations in regards to their issues.

·Ensure that the service provided adheres to the operational standards for quality and timeliness.

·Represent the company in an appropriate and professional manner and portray the companies Values and Key Messages when dealing with internal and external customers.

·Undertake training as and when required for the role.

·Any other duties that are deemed necessary to support the business as and when required.

Role Relationships

Working within the IT Department the role holder will report to the IT Manager.

The role holder will be required to provide IT support throughout the business and will therefore have daily interactions with other internal departments.

It is also recognised that they will need to have contact with external suppliers.

Personal Profile

·Experience in server and database administration and preferably support in a customer facing environment.

·Experience of working in a team familiar with processes and procedures and for a fast paced high transaction business.

·They will be forward thinking and proactive and will be required to work with a team to complete key IT projects to support the business growth.

·In addition to the above the candidate must possess technical skills in the following area:

oAdvanced Windows Server and Desktop Administration skills,

oCISCO Networking experience, certification preferable,

oExperience of administering large SQL databases and Windows file storage,

oDisaster recovery procedures

·They will be required to work with a high degree of accuracy and a significant attention to detail.
