Location: Stoke Poges (2 minutes drive from Slough), Berkshire
Salary: £60-70K Basic plus Car Allowance & 15-20% Bonus

ROLE:
To provide technical leadership to a sub-set of global accounts in order to promote HDS technology and solutions at ALL levels of the IT organisation (from storage operations to global architecture), and to assist the Global Account Manager achieving the following goals: to acquire and retain at least 50% of the storage spend, to deploy the entire HDS portfolio, and to shape multi-million dollar deals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A) Understand the customer's environment, technical issues and strategy and influence their direction with HDS offerings, understand and define the range and extent of products and services that can be provided to the global account.
B) Ensure the HDS solution performs at the customer site to its full potential and that customer personnel are aware of the benefits and value provided.
C) Support the Global Account Manager in qualifying new sales opportunities and preparing HDS proposals.
D) Ensure that HDS proposals are technically sound, able to achieve claims made for them and represent the optimum technical solution within the defined constraints.
E) Act as primary window into the customer on behalf of the Global Account team for all technical pre-sales and customer relationship activities.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
A) Educated to Degree level or equivalent
B) At least 3 years in an equivalent post supporting storage solutions sales OR 3 years relevant IT experience with some time spent in a management, consultancy or supervisory capacity.
C) In depth knowledge of complex Open Systems Environments and Storage Solution infrastructures.
D) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the customer and HDS environment.
E) Possess good understanding of HDS global capabilities and the global business issues facing HDS clients.
F) Experience in Solution Sales and posses an understanding of the architecture of complex solutions in a multi-vendor environment.
