Job Description

SALES EXECUTIVE BASIC £18,500, OTE £35000 - £40000 - LEEDS

This small but highly successful Yorkshire based IT company is growing rapidly offering the potential for an IT Sales Executive to develop their own territory over time. The basic salary is highly competitive with an uncapped commission structure and excellent benefits, allowing the successful candidate to control their own earnings.

The company undertakes varied and interesting IT based projects and has a 15 year track record with an impressive list of local authorities and companies. They are currently expanding into a local Education authority to deliver Sims and Curriculum Support as well as supplying IT equipment and infrastructure.

MAIN DUTIES IT SALES EXECUTIVE
The successful Sales Executive will be required to:

To sell new business into the assigned Local Education authority working to realistic targets, and achievable OTE, supported by bespoke products and marketing activities.
To work on creating their own pipeline, appointments created by themselves initially and the telesales department.
To create a business development plan / strategy and monitor performance against this.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IT SALES EXECUTIVE
The successful IT Sales Executive will have the following skills and experience:

Significant and demonstrable track record of selling IT solutions, ideally to the Education Market
Knowledge of manufacturing and distribution industries would be beneficial but is not essential
Strong consultative selling style with the ability to sell value and competitive difference.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self starter with results driven attitude
Full driving licence.
