Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell market leading system management software. This company has around 30 employees in the UK and are looking for a salesperson with knowledge or experience of the IBM i-series (AS400/system i).
Business Development Manager System Management Software Sales
JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager.
AREA: Europe.
BASED: South UK.
BASIC: £40K - £60K.
OTE: £90K - £120K.
BENEFITS: Car allowance, healthcare, pension, mobile phone and laptop.
THE ROLE
·Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell market leading system management software for the IBM system I, also know as AS400 or i-series.
·The successful candidate will also sell security solutions for the i-series and a BI/ data extraction tool.
·The Business Development Manager will be selling to high level enterprise companies in a split new business and account management capacity.
·Average order values will be around £30K and big orders will be around £100K.
·Sales cycles will be 1 months to 6 months.
·The Business Development Manager will carry a target of around £1million.
THE COMPANY
·Established in 2001 and with a turn over in excess of $70million, this company's UK arm turns over around £8million.
·They are the market leader globally and have offices world wide.
·This company has around 30 employees in the UK.
·Clients include JP Morgan, ABN Amro, Pfizer, Barclays and Lloyds.
·They are the market leader with around 40% of the market share in the UK.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·All applicants must have sold systems management or allied solutions.
·Knowledge or experience of the IBM i-series (AS400/system i) is an advantage for this role.
·It is essential that all candidates are selling infrastructure applications.
·The person filling this position must be a direct sales person, not channel focussed.
·The successful candidate must sell to IT Managers and have 3 to 5 years software sales experience.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
