Our client is one of the leading suppliers of mobile data solutions within the UK and Europe Specialising in the provision of products ranging from PDA's and Smartfone through to business software, CRM packages and wireless connectivity. Established for over 10 years and listed on the London Stock Exchange, their customers vary from the largest of blue chip organisations to SME businesses across a variety of verticals.
An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join their well established team in the South East of England. The role consists of a mixture new business acquisition and account management, and the core responsibilities include,
·Develop new business to increase net connection income and subscription revenues.
·Develop new business opportunities in the line with Company's strategic aims.
·Support marketing activities including events, seminars and customer functions.
·Plan, monitor and report on sales activities.
·Communicate regularly with customers to ensure workloads and timings are fully understood and expectations are managed accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in B2B sales within the telecommunications or IT sector. Their skills and experience will include,
·Detailed knowledge of mobile voice and data solutions
·Sales expertise with a proven track record, including ability to effectively "cold call" and sell to new customers.
·Business acumen and ability to quickly understand customers' requirements.
·Board level presentation skills.
·Excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator with sales negotiation skills.
