Job Description

A unique opportunity has become available to work with this market leading organisation as a Business Development Manager selling networking, IT outsourcing, storage, managed services and contact centre integration. This company is a US and SA collaboration and are looking for an applicant that will be an aggressive and proactive new business hunter.

Business Development Manager Networking, Storage & Related Sales

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager.
AREA: UK wide.
BASED: Home based, in the North or South.
BASIC: £55K.
OTE: £110K.
BENEFITS: £6K car allowance.


THE ROLE

·A unique opportunity has become available to work with this market leading organisation as a Business Development Manager selling networking, IT outsourcing, storage, managed services and contact centre integration.
·This is a services led sale with sales cycles of between 1 and 9 months.
·The Business Development Manager will be targeting C-level and director level within organisations, mainly with COOs as points of contact.
·Deal sizes range from £1million to £5mmillion typically.
·The Business Development Manager will be supported by supported infrastructure team for each different solution. This involves introducing the deal, then contacting key people within each solution for the infrastructure team to then come in and help.
·There will also be support from an appointment making team.

·This company is a US and SA collaboration.
·They have a worldwide turnover of $3.8billion and a UK turnover of £250million.
·They have 10,000 employees, 1400 of which are in the UK.
·Established since 1983.
·Doing fantastically well so far; 2/3 of the sales team are over target and 25% of the sales team are 50% or more over target and into accelerators.


KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·The successful applicant will be an aggressive and proactive new business hunter.
·Must have a minimum of 4 years sales experience.
·All applicants must have sold related services rather than products.
·An effective C-level communicator is required for this position.
