Business Development & Practice Manager Consultancy & Related Services Sales
JOB TITLE: Business Development & Practice Manager.
AREA: London and South East.
BASED: London.
BASIC: £60K.
OTE: Up to £137K.
BENEFITS: Travel allowance, pension and healthcare.
THE ROLE
·If you are looking for a step up in your career then this is the ideal opportunity for you to work as a Business Development & Practice Manager selling consultancy and related services.
·This role will involve selling consultancy, implementation and applications services around IBM's new data archiving product.
·This sale is 100% services lead.
·The Business Development & Practice Manager will be selling to central government and major FTSE 1000 blue chip enterprise companies.
·Deal sizes that the person filling this position should expect to handle will be from £75K to £4million.
·The Business Development & Practice Manager will be targeted on 30% licensing sales and 70% consultancy sales to make £400K to £500K gross profit per year. If £500K is hit, £137K can be made.
·The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include running sales campaigns, seminars and being involved in a bit of marketing.
·Sales cycles will be between 4 and 9 months.
·Selling to technical and business points of contact at C level down will be expected in this role.

·This company is a US organisation and UK start up.
·They have a turnover of £6.5million.
·Currently, they employ 40 people.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·The successful applicant will be a new business sales executive and have account development experience.
·All applicants must have sold to blue chips and major government.
·The ideally applicant will have archiving sales experience and be a self starter.
·Knowledge, understanding and experience of selling archiving will be highly beneficial for this role.
·All applicants must have data management experience as a minimum, such as in storage, business intelligence or data warehousing.
