A driven and motivated Senior Business Development Manager is required to sell application testing. Established in 2001, this company is expected to turnover £120million by 2009. Applicants must have a background in testing or bespoke application development.
Senior Business Development Manager Application Testing Services Sales
JOB TITLE: Senior Business Development Manager.
AREA: UK wide.
BASED: London.
BASIC: £65K - £80K.
OTE: £130K - £160K.
BENEFITS: £6K - £8K car allowance, 23 days holiday, healthcare and pension.
THE ROLE
·A driven and motivated Senior Business Development Manager is required to sell application testing including, consultancy and professional services, S/w performance and load testing, security application testing and penetration testing, white label product development, migration testing and web performance monitoring.
·This role will involve selling to either city focused organisations specifically, retail or investment banking and insurance. This is an opportunity to build a vertical sales team.
Alternatively, this role could involve selling to organisations using or implementing SAP solutions, as this role will be a practice head position.
·This role is 100% new business and the Senior Business Development Manager will retain any accounts that are won.
·Typical order values range from £500K to £1.5million.
·Sales cycles will typically be 1month to 12months depending on the organisation.
·This company has a great track record for delivery and as such client retention is high.
·The Senior Business Development Manager will receive support in the form of client mapping and researching, appointment setting and delivery from 220 UK consultants.
·The Senior Business Development Manager will receive a target of £1million to £2million year one.
THE COMPANY
·This company is growing aggressively, is well funded and flexible.
·They are currently on the acquisition trail, recently bought and as a result now have a turnover of £80million.
·Established in 2001, this company is expected to turnover £120million by 2009.
·Europe accounts for 50% of their world wide revenue.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·Applicants must have a background in testing or bespoke application development.
·It is essential that all candidates have experience of the offshore model.
·The successful candidate will have a hunter profile.
·All applicants must have a proven track record of sales and a P60 to back this up.
·The person filling this position must have closed business with blue-chip corporate companies.
