An outstanding earning potential is available for candidates with a proven track record of account development, to work as an Account Manager selling networking, IT outsourcing and related products and services. This company is a global systems integrator with a worldwide turnover of $3.8billion. All applicants must have a minimum of 4 years sales experience and experience of selling related services.
Account Manager Networking, IT Outsourcing & Related Products & Services Sales
JOB TITLE: Account Manager.
AREA: UK wide.
BASED: London.
BASIC: £55K - £75K.
OTE: £110K - £150K.
BENEFITS: £6K car allowance.
THE ROLE
·An outstanding earning potential is available for candidates with a proven track record of account development, to work as an Account Manager selling networking, IT outsourcing and related products and services.
·This role will involve looking after major accounts that are worth £90million.
·This position will involve selling networking, IT outsourcing, storage, managed services, contact centre integration, convergence, VPNs and IP networking.
·The Account Manager will be 1 of 3 salespeople working on this account, so he or she will have a 1/3 share in the £90million account.
·This is a pure account development sales role.
·Sales cycles in this role will be from 1 to 9months.
·C-level and director level will be targeted within organisations, with COOs as the main point of contact.
·Deal sizes that the Account Manager should expect to handle will be between £5million and £10million.
·A target will be set of increasing this account by 25%.
·Great support and back up will be provided to the Account Manager filling this position.
THE COMPANY
·This company is a global systems integrator with a worldwide turnover of $3.8billion.
·They have a UK turnover of £50million and 1400 employees (10,000 employees worldwide).
·Established since 1983, this company is doing fantastically well so far as 25% of the sales team are 50% or more over target and into accelerators.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·The successful applicant will be somebody that has sold to the service provider market before, such as ISPs or major telecoms companies.
·An aggressive and proactive new business hunter with a systems integration type background is sought for this position.
·All applicants must have a minimum of 4 years sales experience and experience of selling related services.
·This company is looking for an effective C-Level communicator.
·A proven track record of account development within major fixed line telecoms operators is required for this role.
