JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager IT Infrastructure and Managed Services SELLING: Infrastructure, Managed Services and Outsourcing Solutions SELLING TO: Public Sector Central and Local Government Focus all Public Sector except NHS TERRITORY: Working from the Manchester office, covering the UK LOCATION: Ideally, candidates will live on the M62 corridor between Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds PACKAGE: £45k Basic £90k OTE £400p/m car allowance, 21 days holiday, mobile, laptop COMPANY INFORMATION - Our client has been established for over 10 years and specialises in global integrated solutions - Currently, they employ over 100 people globally with over 50 of them being UK based and 15 of them are sales focussed - On target in 2008 for over £25million - global coverage spans 56 countries worldwide from 6 offices YOU MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING - The Regional Sales Manager must be dynamic and new business foccussed, able and willing to cold call, keen and ambitious - Must have a minimum of 5 years over achievement in Public Sector, selling either communication solutions or IT Managed Services - Must have a proven track record of managing and completing complex, six figure projects - Must be Degree Educated with excellent communication and presentation skills IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING - Ideally, the Regional Sales Manager will have experience in the convergence market but not essential - Furthermore, ideal candidates will be able to travel on short notice ROLE INFORMATION - The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 2 Sales Representatives but also responsible for selling the full range of Managed Service, hardware, and Software solutions - Solutions include Infrastructure Services, Managed Services and Outsourcing Solutions - This is a 100% New Business venture and role; as this is a brand new patch for our client - As a result, the Regional Sales Manager will carry an 85% sales quota as well as ensuring the team hit their targets - Furthermore, successful applicants will be expected to manage a marketing budget specific to the vertical, along with regularly liaising with global development teams to deliver market leading solutions - Average order values for the Regional Sales Manager will range dramatically from £5k to £1.75m, however, expect the average to be £25k per deal - As a result, an average sales cycle will be 3 months - Successful applicants will be targeted on both revenue and GP, with figures being £800k and 30% respectively Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
