Job Description

Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell licences, implementation and managed application support but purely for Oracle. This company has been established since 1983. The successful applicant will have managed services sales experience.

Business Development Manager Licences, Implementation &Managed Application Sales

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager.
AREA: UK wide.
BASED: Reading.
BASIC: £50K.
OTE: £100K.
BENEFITS: Car allowance, pension of 5%, Bupa healthcare, tools and commission paid on invoice.


THE ROLE

·Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell licences, implementation and managed application support but purely for Oracle.
·This role will involve winning new business and retaining accounts that are won.
·This position sits within the managed service practice selling oracle managed services (there will also be an element of license sales around core applications plus professional services and implementation) application management and support.
·The Business Development Manager will also sell across this company's entire solution portfolio, with main markets being FMCG, telecoms and the public sector.
·Focus on FMCG, Telecoms and the public sector in this 90% services lead sales role.
·The point of contact for the Business Development Manager will be the budget holder of the company and he or she will deal with large orders of £200K and small ones of £20K, although the average is £50K to £100K.
·There will be a £1.5million margin target.


THE COMPANY

·This company has been established since 1983 and is a UK organisation with 500 employees.
·They have a £51million turnover which is expected to grow to £65million this year.
·They currently employ 6 sales people, all of which are earning over £100K.


KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·The successful applicant will have managed services sales experience (infrastructure or applications).
·All applicants may be able to negotiate a service level agreement type contract.
·A new business hunter on the way up in his or her career is sought for this position.
·This company is looking for hunter with managed services, outsourced, annual contract based IT services experience.
·The ideal candidate will have Oracle or Microsoft ERP experience.
