Established in 1982 and with a worldwide turnover of £220million, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell bespoke application development services. It is essential that all applicants have sold offshore application development services.
Business Development Manager Application Development Services SalesJOB TITLE: Business Development Manager.
AREA: UK wide.
BASED: Reading and London.
BASIC: Up to £70K.
OTE: £120K.
BENEFITS: Up to £13K car, healthcare with family included, gym membership, 6% pension and travel expenses.
THE ROLE
·Established in 1982 and with a worldwide turnover of £220million, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell bespoke application development services.
·These services will mainly be offshore and some integration will be involved.
·The Business Development Manager will be selling to the retail and investment banking sectors in a role that involves networking through the account and finding opportunities to sell the services.
·This is a new business hunter role that entails dealing with individual projects of between £3million and £10million.
·The account that will be handled by the person filling this position is currently worth around £30million per year, so the Business Development Manager will be targeted on £4million to £5million revenue in the first year.
·Sales cycles in this position are ongoing; typically between 2 and 9 months.
·Back up will be provided to the successful applicant by telemarketers, the established name, systems delivery, and marketing that is done in conjunction with BT.

·They have 2700 employees worldwide and 19 global offices, 2 of which are in the UK.
·Last year, the UK had a profit of £10million.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·The successful applicant will be a capable and strong hunter.
·It is essential that all applicants have sold offshore application development services.
·The ideal candidate will have previously sold to retail and investment banking.
