The Company
The company is a leading Online Fashion Retailer, having won numerous awards in the past and four already this year. You'll be working for a top brand in the industry and have an exciting team around you in the central London office. No marketplace is in place yet, however once the right candidate applies it'll be on its way!
The Role
An amazing opportunity for a Head of Marketplace has arisen with this exciting client! You'll be involved with heading up the inception of the marketplace and turning it into a world-class solution. The client is looking to create an area online where it allows its traffic to trade between each other, as well as letting smaller traders use the clients' website as a vehicle to sell their goods online. Innovation and quality is required to be the right head of marketplace for this well-known brand, as the building and management of the marketplace will fall on you
The Profile
To become the successful applicant to the Head of Marketplace you will have:
· A strong background in Auction/Marketplaces and/or online retail.
· Delivered Web Projects in conjunction with IT teams
· Built and managed teams
· Personality, drive and communication skills to succeed in a challenging environment
· Experience liaising with board level figures and down.
