Job Description

Merchant Services Sales Training Manager

To £75k Basic + Bonus + substantial benefits

Based London and South East

Our client is a Global leader in secure Payment Solutions to a wide range of businesses that receive revenue via card payments. They process over a million payments a day and are perceived as a market leader in their field. In partnership with a major High Street Bank, they are expanding their UK sales-force in multiple locations within the UK.

They are currently recruiting for an EU Sales Training Manager to take over the training of the expanding salesforce. The role involves:

Complete analysis of training needs for sales teams and sales related projects
Design and Develop training curriculum as needed by EU Market including modification of programs in order to make them EU centric.
Act as a training consultant to internal clients including Managers and Executives of Bus Development
Evaluate and report on effectiveness of sales and product training and coaching programs
Assess need for modification and updates of sales and product training on an ongoing basis
Coach sales representatives and managers and facilitate classes for the various Sales teams as well as Sales Managers
Create, implement, and manage a Training plan and resources to deliver training on an ongoing basis to sales teams in EU
Deliver New Hire Sales training to all sales channels using a blended learning approach
Become certified in training programs delivered by outside consultants as necessary
Create and deliver presentations to internal client groups as needed on an ad hoc basis as well as to Executive and Management Staff
Evaluate, hire and manage contractors and facilitators

The successful applicant will be financially and computer literate. You will have proven experience in design/development (e-learning preferred) and experience in managing training projects and resources, Experience with Learning Management Systems would be preferred as would being bilingual as there will be a percentage of international work. Candidates with a strong background in Needs Creation selling or SPIN training will have a strong advantage.
