Candidate Requirements
My client is looking for significant longevity in prior roles with over-achievement of quotas backed up by p60's. You should be interested in global brands and have a structured sales methodology and be consultative in your approach. It is a bonus to have sold software into marketing, but this is not essential. It is more important that you are familiar with big-ticket strategic sales, long sales cycles and have the ability to open doors and build business relationships.
Job Responsibilities
-Contribute with other team members to the formulation of tactical sales campaigns
-Working with identified target companies, develop dialogue with key influencers, decision makers and budget holders
-Follow up rigorously to secure meetings and opportunities to present company credentials
-Develop proactive proposals/responses to client briefs with input from company credentials
-Present proposals and lead the sales process through all stages to completion
-Liase client/company account teams to ensure smooth operational handover of first project, including contractual arrangements
-Maintain and develop relationships with new clients, liasing with account team members on client penetration strategy
-Work with client teams on development of nominated existing clients to broaden scope of company's engagement with the client
-Attend appropriate networking events/seminars to broaden knowledge of the market place and identify new opportunities for partner/prospect dialogue
-Use company's suite of reporting tools and CRM system to record all relevant client dialogue, future action steps, sales progress, revenue/gross profit forecasts
-Develop personal strategies to increase knowledge of global business, sector and client macro issues and how these apply to the range of services.
