Sales Manager UK

£60-70k +Uncapped Bonus

London or South East (Home based)

Liaison Technologies wish to appoint a highly motivated Sales Manager for their UK business. This is initially a home based role with a national remit and reports to the Vice President of European Sales.

The chosen candidate will:

  • Sell products/services to new customers to achieve or exceed assigned annual revenue objectives
  • Provide account management of existing customers to retain booked revenue and increase new revenue within account through relationship and contact management;
  • Contact and visit prospective customers to determine product/services needs and performs sales presentations to match company's products with identified needs.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities sufficient enough to attain sales objectives.
  • Remain knowledgeable of company's products to facilitate sales efforts. Continually learn to enhance product/service knowledge and selling skills.
  • Maintain sales records using CRM, and prepare sales reports as required.
  • Target and categorize accounts by Company Profile and Sales Framework; company size, market, potential revenue, solution needed, probability of closure, cost and time to sell.
  • Develop and maintain account/territory plans.
  • Keep abreast of target account activity, competition, competitive issues, products, and services, and markets; Report market and competitive information to Marketing.

Background and experience:

  • Ability to identify new account prospects and cultivate into credible sales opportunities.
  • Ideally degree calibre (business, sales or IT) with 4 years+ solution sales experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Data Integration / Data Management / Data Security markets and players and have experience of selling Software as a Service (Saas)
  • Experience of selling in a consultative setting and the management of long sales cycles would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to perform ROI / TCO analysis.
  • Ability to understand technical solutions and answer technical and business related questions.
