Your Profile
As a Telephone Sales Executive you will have experience within the telecommunications industry or similar with a proven track record. The telephone sales executive will have excellent sales, presentation and negotiation skills as well as good business sense and a professional manner. It is essential that the telephone sales executive has the ability to develop in-depth knowledge about products and markets within the telecommunications industry. Good organisational and time management skills and the ability to deal with rejection is a must.
The Role
As a telesales executive you will be responsible for finding and winning new customers, as well as looking after existing customer accounts. Ideally you will have specific experience of selling within telecoms or related industries.
Key tasks will include:
· Generating sales orders by high levels of outbound sales activity (cold calling)
· Keeping in contact with existing customers by telephone
· Selling and up selling to new and existing customers
· Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
· Meeting sales targets
· Promoting new products and any special deals
· Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
· Recording orders and sending hardware from the sales office
· Understanding your customers' needs
