Job Description

E-Commerce Software Developer

Central London

£50k-£55k Basic + Benefits

Our client is currently recruiting for an E-Commerce Software Developer. They are a prominent and well-established e-commerce software organisation based in London. They specialise in delivering first-class consultancy to online retailers and have won many industry awards. They pride themselves on their ethical practices and work successfully with partners. Their unbiased views and open-mindedness are not common within the industry.

They are actively looking for two Software Developers to join an experienced team of software architects and developers. The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, development and testing of quality code to meet customer driven specifications. You will be working within a project team to deliver high quality code to deadlines.

You must be able to clearly communicate what is to be done and the milestones achieved to those within the project and realistically estimate your own delivery timescales. You must be a solution solver and make full use of the tools and materials provided or to suggest alternatives where appropriate. You will also pro-actively research new technologies that may bring relevance to the outputs being created. You will work when necessary with third party suppliers to deliver integrated solutions. We need motivated self starters.

You must be a positive and enthusiastic self starter and enjoy working in a team environment. You will be receptive to new ideas and willing to share your ideas with colleagues. You will not require close management and take pride in both your work and in yourself. You are sociable and must have a good sense of humour and not be afraid to express your opinions and enjoy working in an environment where other people express theirs.
