An international leader in the development, manufacture and supply of specialised industrial equipment, this global company is looking to further develop its exceptional team of Product Specialists through the recruitment of a number of dynamic, hard working and proactive individuals.
Recognised all over the world as a leader in the provision of high quality electro-optical products - such as cameras, microscopes and Endoscopic equipment - for medical and industrial applications, this organisation has built a reputation for excellence in both the products they supply and the service they deliver. The Industrial division provides remote visual inspection and high speed video products to a wide variety of companies in the global industrial market.
Based from the Head Office in Essex, you will be supporting the recently re-defined EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) territory. Much of your account management will be done over the phone, but you will likely be in the field for between 8 - 10 days of every month.
In order to build effective and long lasting relationships with your clients within the EMEA area, and to ensure they are fully trained in using the products, this role will involve some international travel.
This Product Specialist role will be exciting, challenging and varied. Not only will you be responsible for supporting the customer, the country-based distributors and the sales people in the field, you will be heavily involved in the management of new product development.

The Person
You will have a degree, or equivalent, in a scientific or engineering discipline, be a creative thinker with an outgoing personality and attention to detail. As you will be communicating at all levels and with technical and non-technical people, you will be adaptable in style, a good listener and be a great rapport builder.
As part of the role will be to provide in-field support to the field sales people, customers and overseas sales organisations, you must be prepared to travel within and outside of the UK.
