Technical Account Manager (Post Sales) - £35000-£45000 OTE + Benefits

Job Summary

The role will entail the driving and managing of post-sales processes with both direct and channel customers. Specifically, the role will entail the communication of the company's technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, and identifying all technical and business issues of assigned accounts throughout all stages of the sales process.
Below are some of the key responsibilities that the position entails:

  • Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts
  • Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
  • Provide functional and technical support to customers
  • Respond to customer questions on technical and business related issues
  • Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
  • Responsible for attending conferences, seminars, etc
  • Provide technical assistance during RFP and trial phases for potential new customers, working with the presales team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Key skills/capabilities necessary for the role include:

  • Experience with vulnerability management, policy compliance, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, network scanners, PCI, policy compliance tools and audit tools
