Key Sales Account Manager - IT Software Provider £45,000 base, £104,000 OTE + £7200 car allowance + Benefits We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a major IT software provider in the UK. They are currently looking for Key Accounts Managers for 2 verticals. The first is in the banking, financial, insurance and telecommunications sector, the other is working with central government organisations. You will be looking to deal direct and also with key systems integrators. Managing a defined national account base of customers and prospects you will be expected to develop and close opportunities to deliver against an annual target of £792,000 new business margin. You will be tasked with generating and identifying new opportunities and also cross selling and up selling within the existing customer accounts. You will be responsible for managing opportunities through to close. Through face-to-face sales meetings you will be required to develop a detailed understanding of the nature of an organisations business with a view to quantifying how and where the organisation will derive benefit from using our solutions. In most cases you will be required to produce a proposal to support a business case. The role requires an individual with strong oral and written presentation skills and one who can build and leverage relationships within each account. To apply, you will have a successful track record with demonstrable field sales experience in software or services; Excellent commercial awareness with a good breadth of knowledge of the commercial market place; Experience at selling at all levels of seniority from day-to-day contacts to board level decision makers; An understanding of long-term sales process and experience of selling complex solutions to multiple contacts. The salary on offer is £45,000 base, £104,000 OTE + £7200 per year car allowance.
